SLP Fan Switch killing my battery

Ok, so I got a SLP fan switch. My car is off and switch is off! I guess its a faulty module or switch. Im going to test it out but I was just wondering if any of you have had this problem? Please respond thanks!

Never had such a problem. I really don't see how that could happen either, unless for some reason the first stage fans are running (when the car is not running) and you can't hear them....

Nope, I have never had that problem with my fan switches. Mine are the best thing I have ever done to my car...(electrical wise)

Well, I called SLP and they kinda hinted that the switch (actually the whole stupid thing) has had problems but they wouldn't admit it fully. I was told to go with a new switch...whatever! I haven't really had time to check this, so today I'm going to go over the whole harness. Check the switch, ground and see if the plugs are fully connected. I mean..c'mon. This mod is like a "one step" install. My grandma can put this together. It makes me not even want to bother with a petty issue like this but it benefits me since I live in California and everyone knows how hot it gets in the summer. Sitting at lights is an everyday thang while watching your temp guage sky-rocket. Anyhow, I need to get back to installing my guages I just bought.

Laterz.....

If the switch is off I have no idea why it would be draining your battery... But I would never buy something that could be made very easily.

Ok when the car is off and the switch is off, does the fans still run??? If they still run then you probably have a faulty switch. If the fans are off, then its not your fans. And I'm not sure if the switch has a built in LED (light) but if you turn the switch off and the LED is still on, you have a bad switch. Good luck
