Lightbulb Which size of injectors? please help

I've done a XE 230/236 cam with LT's and a cutout. I have a 125 dry shot of juice. On the bottlle I need bigger injectors than stock ones
What size of injectors should I use (Im plannig in having LE port and polish my heads soon) I heard that 36 SVOs should be enough for that combo. Would 42 be too much?

Any advice would be appreciate it

SVO 36lb injectors would be OK. 42lb injectors would give more breathing room while on the bottle but would be a little big during low RPM operation.

go with a wet shot..less chance of things going wrong.
If you insist going dry shot..get some biggest injectors u can afford

You realize that with larger injectors you will need a custom tune, right? Wet kits are definitely preferable unless you are running an aftermarket ECU with provisions for running nitrous.

A dry kit like the NOS 5176 boosts the fuel pressure when you spray, to get more fuel flow, so you size the injectors for "NA" HP, not for the N2O HP.

Nothing wrong with dry nitrous, in fact you can make a strong case for it. But as Rich points out, it works best with an aftermarket ECU that can provide the correct tuning for BOTH NA operation and N2O.

What kind of HP are you expecting with that combo? It doesn't sound like it needs 36# injectors. 36's would be good for an engine making over 500HP (NA).

My car just dyno 335.3rwhp and 348.5torque. By doing heads I hope I'll be close to the 380 range. (heads are gonna go probably by the end of the year).

The guys from SpeedInc. Made also a run with the nitrous and it gave me 416rwhp and 472.8 of torque with the fuel ratio being in the 16s and 15s. that's way to lean.
I think Im gonna go for the conversion from dry to wet. and Ill just keep the stock injectors.

thanks for your replies
