Silly battery charging question - no posts??
Silly battery charging question - no posts??
A buddy of mine is trying to charge his 95 Camaro battery with a trickle charger.... (AC Delco Freedom 670 battery)
I told him that he should unplug the battery from the car to do it.. just to minimize the chance of the PCM getting some excess voltage...
Once he does that, there's no place to clamp on the charger... There are no posts on the top of the battery
The battery terminals 'screw in to the back' of the battery - once you unscrew 'em, the battery is basically a block.. nothing protruding for clamps to stick on..
Is there any safe way of doing this? Or should just just trickle charge the battery with his car connected to it?
Thanks for your help!!
