Signs your running rich...

Right now the stroker is having general tuning issues and I know its running very rich. I just want to make sure these problems are related to just that, or something else Ill have to look into...trying to troubleshoot and work things out.

1. The car has been getting progressively harder and harder to start...almost like the starter is dying...
2. In the lower RPM's the car bogs bad and comes to life after 3500 RPM's or so...
3. Throttle response is crappy and hesitated..
4. Idle is very high 500-1000 RPM's or so too high...

What do you guys think?

Sounds like you have a few issues...first, get the starter situation squared away. Make sure your alternator is charging properly, and that ALL your grounds are connected properly. As for the running rich, make sure you have no exhaust leaks before the oxygen sensors. That would make the PCM think you are lean when in fact you are not. How old are your O2 sensors? May be time to replace them. When is the last time you cleaned the MAF? Could be dirty and covered in grime. How about your plugs and wires? I would also check for vaccuum leaks around the throttle body and intake. That should be a good start!

That is a good start. Ill break it down here.

1. Im taking a look at the starter and grounds later today.
2. I deleted the AC and the belt I put on works, but may be a little loose. When driving the gauge on the dash is ~2/3 of the way up.
3. Ill be checking again today for exhaust leaks...maybe due to the slip fit on the LTs
4. O2 sensors are 5,000 miles old
5. MAF hasnt been cleaned in a while, i did take it apart to polish it though over the winter
6. Plugs and wires are brand new, still have to check plugs to see how they look
7. Still have to check for vaccuum leaks to tonight..

Ill update later..

If you can get your hands on a wideband o2 sensor that would be the best way

Other signs include fouled plugs, alot of soot in the exhaust, smell of unburnt fuel...

If most of this stuff checks out, try to borrow a known good MAF off a buddy's car. It could have got dropped or banged around when you worked on it. BTW, make sure no plug wires got burned, it's way too easy to do. Good luck!
