Ok I just got my second brand new one.
And it is too big for the hole.
So how hard is it to make a fan motor for my car?
It can't be that hard.
Has any body else had this problem before?
BTW my car is a 1997 Z28.
And Siemens ownes VDO.
VDO makes great gauges Right?
So like I said "why is it so hard to make a fan fit my car?

It would probably be better/cheaper to pick up a fan off of another LT1 F-car. Check out our sponsors that deal with F-body salvage.

 

Well it look's like all I have to do is sand down the inside of the fan shroud.
And it should fit.
I got it at Auto Zone because they were the cheepest and it has a life time warranty.
$29.99 New I don't think you can beat that.
But it would be nice if it fit like the GM peice.
It just need's to be sanded a little it just goes in very tight.
And the old one comes out easy.
