Should i replace my opti spark distributor?
I have been fixing a oil leak in my cam seal. When i took the opti spark distributor off oil came out the top electrical plug when i tiped it. The car ran fine when it was together but i took everything out to fix a oil leak and thats when i noticed that there was alot of oil coming out of the opti spark top plug.
Should i be worried about putting the opti spark back on? If so i may just go ahead and spend the money to replace it.

You would have to judge by looking inside the opti. If you are lucky, the oil did not get in. Perhaps you just have a bad seal on the opti harness plugging into it.

i agree with that, get in there lean it out with a can of conpressed air, but be carefull not to bend or break anything. if there is oil in there im not sure if you could just clean it out or you would have to buy another unit.but if it ran fine before hand, i would just clean it out and put it back on after words
