Should I mod my 94z or save for a LS1?

I just turned 17 and worked my *** off to buy my 94z for 4000. I have been going to this board for a while now and been reading of all the mods and stuff for your cars. I love Camaro's and hope I'll always have one... but was wondering if I should not get into the addictive art modding my LT1 and just save my money for a LS1? That would last me most of my early adulthood life and I would have money later to mod my LS1....

Are LS1's a lot better than LT1's?

i would save and buy the Ls1. i love my Lt1 but if i was buying a car now i would buy an LS1. faster stock for stock. newer, less miles. buy the best car you can afford. know what you want and work and save till you can afford it.

...well ya got to do the free mod's cuz they are FREE And once you start? Good luck stopping! And even though at first your car seems fast, it'll ware off and you'll want MORE ... You only live once, mod the one you have.... If your car is worth $4 grand and a LS1 costs $12 grand {just getting figures out of the air}, thats $8 g's more & for $8's you can make your car A lot faster than an LS1..... IMO Bill....

If you want to wait a LONG TIME then save for an LS1. They are very fast stock, and when you mod them even faster.

But the look on an LS1 driver's face after he's been smacked by a little 'ol LT1 is priceless. I say buy the LT1 now and then save for some mods. It's doesn't take much to run even with an LS1 jobbie.
