shoud i get a inline fuel pump??

shoud i get a inline fuel pump??

mods in sig plus i have a custom ground cc306 and some other goodies ready to go in. will my stock fuel pump handle it? or should i get a inline fuel pump to asist it?

Check your fuel pressure at full throttle.

Thunder Racing sells a fuel pressure guage for $35 that can be zip tied to the windshield wiper. Run the engine to red-line in drive. If the fuel pressure falls off of 40 psi, you need more pump.

I have a T-Rex external pump for sale if you're interested.

mike......will an inline external pump just suck through the stock pump without probs?.........i dont wanna bother doing an in-tank.........probably wont be over 500-550 fwhp.

IMO go ahead and get a intake pump the stock one will go bad sonner or later. My stock pump was good when I chaged it out at 104k I cut a whole in the hatch area. installed it in less than 30min. worth the peace of mind for me.

Yes, providing you keep the intank pump functional.
