Frank,

It must feel good to have one of your trannies not only last in the car for what 3 years now of daily driving and race duty, but is also running 12.0's in a bolt-on only LT1...

BTW, I see the CPT cars page is already updated...

Good times......congrats

it looks to me like I'm only 2 tenth's and .8 MPH short, and I still have more then a hundred pound on his raceweght with the ability to still pull it out and was running on a much hotter day with positive DA, if I get my 60' down then I'm there in this weather...

Am I missing anything that says I'm a "long ways" off?

I'm sure he keeps the car below 1/4 tank to keep the weight down, its kind of hard to have the exact fuel level each time so that +/- a gallon or so.

zx1216 is right, but I actually try to keep between .5 - 1.5 gal. in the tank. Also, right before my first 12.0 pass I ran out of gas in the staging lanes when I was next in line for the burnout box , because I lost track of how many passes I had put on between my 1/2 gal. fillups . I had to have my buddy run to the trailer and grab the gas can and I threw in just under a gal. so I can guess it was right around 3190#, but I didn't weigh it after that run...

I was planning on trying for it when the weather got better, and I will pull some extra weight and go all out then. But, there was no need for that this weekend when I was just trying to dial in my new front shocks/springs. I still don't get them fully dialed in yet, and I need to worry about consistancy right now since I race in a points series and need to be ready for the next race this Sunday, and in the fall I can go for the record, but I am pretty sure the car has it in her...

Frank,

It does appear that way doesn't it, but it's not really every time...
