Shoebox inside please

I need to change out the oil seal in the timing cover for the opti . Can you tell me how to do this It looks like it can be done without removing the timing cover.

You should be able to remove the old one with a screw driver or pick, then oil the new one and tap it in with a mallet.

Use a piece of wood or something to even distribute the load on seal to push it in evenly.

Very doable without the timing cover off.
Took care of that a few weeks back.
Took me longer to find a store with 93 gasket sets in stock than to install it LOL
