Just remove the 3 bolts holding on that radiator cap then remove the hoses and the fans (they slide out on clips) The radiator will just pull out, nothing really holds it in very well.. lol

After you get out the minor stuff...( intake duct ). Make sure you remove the transcooler lines and unplug the senor on the passenger side of the radiator. Take out the cooling fans and disconnect the hoses. If you got your car on a lift or can get it high enough its ez to remove from the bottom. If not your gonna have to do some wiggling as you slide it out at an angle. Its fairly simple dude.

good luck

Purchase a Haynes manual. Honestly, you should try to do some things before asking for help on something so easy to do. Our cars are not that hard to work on. Sorry if this comes off as a smart-*** remark, for no offense is intended.

Yeah that was really helpfull to the guy carlos64030.

CJ Black after you get everything unbolted you really have to wiggle it side to side to move it.

Radiator removal is covered in my cam removal page. It's pretty much like everyone has said. Actually, I found it one of the harder things to deal with because of it's size, lack of working space and the effort required not to damage the thing.

Hmmm...maybe the '97's have a smaller radiator, mines come out with absolutely no effort whatsoever, after removing the shroud of course. Are you guys removing them from the bottom or the top?
