Shifter moves freely from P to 1st
On my beater, a 91 corsica the gear selecter moves from Park to 1st freely and it doesnt matter if the car is started or the key is in the ignition.
The only thing I can think is the gear selector to the transmission is either broken or off. The one for the gear selector is ok....
