Red face Shall I change T-160 Stat and ......

Hi there, I am making 96MNTA to daily driving car.
I am thinking about taking out Electric Meizer Water pump out and replace it with Stock one. I also thinking about replacing T-160, but do not where to find out. Last one I got it from LG motor Speed when I use to leave in Dallas. Now I am in Toronto Canada.
Second sinice I have 95K Miles on my car; would be a Good idea to change a OPTI. I do not have a problem yet, and it is original one.
Last not least any body have Do it your self page with pictures. Cause It has been while since I did all that work!
Thanks

If the fans aren't tuned for lower temps, the new thermostat won't help you any.

Leave the opti alone if it still works fine.

Why are you going to put a stock wp back on? Are you sure the gears and all are still there?

Talking

ok I would leave the OPTI as it.
I am changing to stock because my Weekend warrior days are gone.
This is now my normal car. I do not want to take a chance my meizer go
couput.
Fans do come on early, however living in Canada that is not best thing. In winter the best heater you can get is luke warm when TEMP out side could be -16 F.
I am going to re tune my PCM for not to come on early. I am going back for normal Stock setting.
I am replacing the Meizer water pump with new Stock water pump.
My Meizer going to go on sell with Meizer Electric motor and housing (intact) and relay etc.
I need to find out what are part number T-160 Stat and Water pump Gasket.
PS I replacing T-160 with Newer one thinking it migh on the way out. Old T 160 have 45K miles on it.

I would consider the ewp more reliable than the stock one. You can add a warning light to show if the pump fails.

Very Well Could be and Warning Light is very Good idea.
However 35MPG is not best when you want to WARM your car up for wife two infant kids at -15 F
