I hear ya! Terrible burger flipper customer service. Had the same experience when I called about my custom cam. Idiot wanted to know why I wasn't using a shelf grind . He really believed there was no more power to be gained going custom. To top it off he said the car would not stay running with less than a 112 lsa - no matter what the size of the cam How do all those BRE guys do it?? Must be El Breto's magic. Case in point ask for cam advice on this forum or pay for advice. Comp is useless but I guess we should be thankful the springs are being made in mexico rather than china.

I bought mine in March of '06. So surely they were made in late '05 or early '06. Is there any way to tell by their appearance? Mine have a blue stripe on them....

Me, "Thanks for the info Chris. I have some 26918's that were bought on 1/3/06 w/ a batch # 29120. Could you tell me if these were made by you or not?"

Chris Osborn (Valve Spring Engineer, PAC Racing Springs, 1-866-799-9417
www.RacingSprings.com), "bdc95ta - that batch code looks like one we use. That would be the last one we sent to them. Actually, I am impressed they have the batch code on them. You should be in good shape the=n."

I bought mine from Bret Bauer by the way.

read past posts , someone is returning a set of unused springs for a new set, not made in mexico. just call comp and tell them you have a set that fall into that batch series.

No. They are still Mexican. Supposedly the proble,s with have been solved. I'd be skeptical of that.
