FWIW the reason they are breaking is most likely a manufacturing process problem. It makes it a very spotty issue so not all sets are bad, but you can't tell the good ones from the bad ones, other than WHO made them. The springs that they are using now look like a reverse engineered part, not something built from the orginal plans and processes. Bashing the idea of a beehive spring is dumb, and obviously the PAC versions are not having problems.
