security light

I need some help here, i can not remember where but there was a post that
detailed which wire to splice a resitor into for the ignition switch.
light came on while driving the car sunday and on monday the light came on
and as you know the car would not start

You don't have to splice any wires. Disconnect the plug and stick the resitor leads in the connector side that goes to the PCM not the side that goes up the steering column. Shrink wrap or tape it and you're done. The resistor can be gotten at Radio Shack. The value only needs to be within 10% so don't sweat getting precise. Did mine over a year ago. No problem like before when I changed the steering wheel and the wires got cut. In order to get the airbag light out, had to remove the sir coil. When I did that, I didn't realize the wires from the contacts was rubbing.
