Re: searching for the best spark plug wires

For stockish type builds Accell Extreme 9000s are great. I've run them for years on my setup.

For all out builds I would go 10mm Magnecor.

No, but OTVC is overrated in my opinion.

Elite Spark Plugs wires. I got them and can say nothing but good things.

All the right lengths, good boots that fit real tight, clip on firmly, even on the Opti ends. And they have a life time warrenty. I got them with the heat shielding. They work great. And for 9MM wires, with the heat sheilding, which looks nice btw, they were 90$ cut to length already.

Re: searching for the best spark plug wires

I like my taylor 8.2mm ThunderVolts. I'm on my second set of Taylors in 2 years, and I just don't understand how you guys have so many problems with them. Cutting and crimping wires is easy as pie...

Re: searching for the best spark plug wires

I am not affraid to make my own wires, but the three sets I had were all premade. But, none of them were over the valve cover either.

Re: searching for the best spark plug wires

I've got Taylor Spiro Pros (8mm) that I custom cut/crimped for the OVC set up...Got 2 years on them with zero problems...If you take your time, and use a good crimper you should be fine...
