Seafoam - Hydrolocking?

What exactly is hydrolocking and how would this happen? whats a good way to avoid it, i already have this site http://www.acaenterprises.com/camaro...m/seafoam.html

What would you have to fix after the car hydrolocks?

Thanks in advance,
B.stevens

Hydro locking is when your motor draws in water. Not just some moisture, we are talking a liquid sitting in your intake. When you draw liquid into the cylinder more than your combusion chamber cc it can't compress the fluid on the compression stoke and bad things happen. You will be looking at a total rebuild if you hydrolock your motor. Bent rods, broken pistons, might even split the block. I saw a 3.0 ford v6 split open before He tried to follow my jeep through some water and apparently his air intake was down low behind his headlight haha. Ever notice the snorkel up the windshield on offroad vehicles? Like on the crocodile hunters truck.

With seafoam your not running any risk of that since your feeding it to the car slowly while its running, there isn't enough volume for bad things to happen.
