well, just deleted my emissions 2 weeks ago when i installed my headers and exhaust. I have 2 computer codes that i got scanned, and they both make sense.
1) EGR malfunction (EGR is deleted)
2) left o2 running lean (had a problem with it rattling and comming loose, got that fixed tho)

now, since ive done headers/exhaust my car will slightly backfire and stumble at 2k. My car has brand new OTVC plug wires (none are burnt), and i checked 2 of my plugs, neither of which were fouled.

I am seriously stumped here, and not sure what to chase down next

sorry injuneer, i thought i posted that two days ago and bumped it yesterday, anyways, i talked to a local mechanic, and he said that it sounds like a cap/rotor problem, does this sound right? I have brand new plugs and plug wires, o2 sensors are good, fuel filter is brand new.
