51 may be just a hiccup.
72 is Vehicle Speed Sensor loss (automatic transmission only). Check the connection first.
You may want to reset the PCM and see if either returns.

would you think trans output speed sensor could make me not shift into 3rd gear like the car is slipping ? is this sensor replaceable , what you happen to have the part #.. thanks
