51 Ecm Prom Error
72 Trans output speed sensor
does anyone know what i can do about these codes what there associated with espically the trans output sensor?

51 may be just a hiccup.

72 is Vehicle Speed Sensor loss (automatic transmission only). Check the connection first.

You may want to reset the PCM and see if either returns.

would you think trans output speed sensor could make me not shift into 3rd gear like the car is slipping ? is this sensor replaceable , what you happen to have the part #.. thanks

72 is going to affect shifting. The PCM relies on the VSS for making shifts.

GM PART # 8673299 for 94-95 VSS
