scanmaster compatibility

I want to buy a scanmaster because I did most of the mods in my sig at the same time. I have a 97 Z, but it has a 95 Z ECU in it. Obviously, I still have the 97 size connector under the drivers side dash, so how would all this fair? I don't know much about the scanmaster, but I know I'll need it!

don't suppose anybody has a used one for sale.....

Will work just fine and you'll even be able to read the trouble codes.

You'll be in the same situation as I was (originally OBDII but converted to OBDI) so this guide should give you what you need for the wiring...

The Scanmaster doesn't plug into you ALDL port, it utilizes one of the lines. I just tapped into the line from behind the connector. Very useful tool to read PCM values real time.
