Make sure that the puller is not bolted to the hub, if it is, then you are basically pulling against itself and it wont come off.

Blancer and hub are 2 seperate items.

Sounds like you are trying to tear the hub apart. Are you aware it looks like this? If the center shaft of your puller is up against the inside of the hub, you are gonna go nowhere and break stuff. You need to put a hardened shaft into the crank bolt hole. It needs to be long enough so you puller will push against it until the hub is free.

Some people loosen the crank bolt and push against that, but I don't recommend that as you might destroy the threads.

get a longer bolt so you can push against the head of the bolt, pr you can back out the stock bolt and push against it but i did that and had to rethread the bolt and crank. and it probably did not hurt it but try it the right way now...

I used a small 3 jaw puller.....it was still a biatch. I also sprayed it down with Rust Eater and and let it set an hour or so.

You can go to autozone and get the 3 jaw pulley basicly for free as long as you return it. I did the same thing as you at first.LOL

Just go to autozone and rent a harmonic balancer puller. You will have to go to a hardware store to get bolts to fit in the hub. Get 3" bolts and washers with nuts for the back. Take out the center hub bolt and go get a longer one or get something to go through the hole to push on. Make sure if you use the existing crank bolt you take off the washer and barely thread the bolt. then crank away on the puller. i had an airgun the second time I did it and it came off in a matter of seconds.

well I would check somewhere else for one. Maybe you should just buy one. Harbor Freight sells 'em pretty cheap and I think autozone has them. also after you the hub off you might need to use a sledge to get it back on. Worked for me cause those hub installer tools don't have the right thread on 'em.
