Re: running rich

Did you remove the exhaust manifolds or y-pipe? If you did then you may have created an exhuast leak.

what year is your car and why do you think its running rich?

?? lol, might need to start proof reading before you hit the submit button.

an air foil and a ram air kit is not going to cause you to run rich.

Re: running rich

your computer regulates your air and fuel. not the kind of intake you have. i doubt seriously that the air foil is making any difference whatsoever. what is making you think that you are running rich? have you scanned the car and got some readings indicating that you are running rich or are you just taking a guess? if the answer is the latter, get some actual reading via your computer or a dyno to see what your a/f ratio is. or go and buy an a/f gauge.

Re: running rich

Mine is running without MAF, poor though. Another thought - I know it sound stupid, but check whether MAF is put backwards.

Re: running rich

Yes you can run your car without the maf. It will not go into closed loop. Provided you have a non 93.
