Run fuel pump with engine off?

How can I run the fuel pump with the engine off? I need to drain the tank to fill it with race gas. Thanks in advance.

Never heard of anyone trying it. If you disconnected the fuel line at the fuel filter and could keep the pump running by a power source it just might work. I would just get on the interstate and run it low that way. I heard of people dropping the tank to remove old gas because it sat for too long. Maybe you could siphon it but on my other car the rollover ball prevented me from doing it.

There is a fuel pump prime connector near the PCM. You supply +12V to that connector, and the pump will run. Shoebox has a photo:

It will also siphon... I do that regularly when running C16.
