Rockers? Tune? Hp?

first things first i bought a set of aluminum RR's from jegs for a sbc center bolt 1.5 ratio they broke the tip top of the same valve off twice when i had them installed do thoughs even work for my car?

Next thing i need a tune where should i get one for a good price my car will have normal temps then sit in a parking lot and it gets hot and stays hot dont always hear the fans staying on and sometimes high fans set the ses light on when they run but the relays and motors are good for the fans and the temp reads accurate so i figure a tune with my 160 thermostat i havent installed yet would fix that right up... i hope along with that what should i set the fans to turn on for my tune i will get?

Last thing i never have dyno'ed my car any ideas on hp or tq numbers?
and what kind of hp gains should i expect from a tune?

The fans don't set the SES light because they run. They run because some other problem has set a code and is turning the SES light on. Get it scanned for codes.... first step BEFORE a "tune".

What is your definition of "gets hot and stays hot"? Low speed fan will not turn on until 226*F, high speed at 235*F. Are these the kind of temperatures you are seeing when the fans are on? Shouldn't get above those temps sitting and idling. Time for a cooling system checkup? Has the air been bled out of the system correctly? Has the system been flushed? Have you had the cap tested?

Sounds like your roller rockers don't have the correct geometry, and are imposing a lateral load on the valve tip, fatiguing it. Have you verified you have the correct pushrod length? Why did you opt for 1.5X?

Who tuned the car for the mod's to date? Or have you been driving it for 3,000 miles without a tune? What size injectors are you running? The mods sound simple enough that a good mail-order tune will get you close to what you need, then find someone in your area that can dyno tune an LT1 (specific software required). In order for anyone to estimate the HP, as a minimium you would have to provide more data on the cam than just the lift, and provide some info on the head flow capabilities.
