rubbing help???!!!!asap

OK, so i hit black ice last week, and spun out, long story short i snapped my driver side rear axle when I hit a curb. Just got the car back and It wasnt fixxed right. Atleast it doesnt feel like it. THe rear seems fine, except for a little noise from the breaks which thery say is from rust on the rotor from sittin in the rain for a week. But on the highway, when i cut my wheel right even a little like changing lanes, i feel a pulse, like a rubbing in the front of the car. It wasnt there before i Hit the curb. Any clue how hitting a curb with my driver rear, and hoppin the curb, and snappin an axle could effect my front end in that way with the pulswe. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you hit anything with the front? When you say "hopped a curb" I'm not sure if that includes the front end, but I'd check the front wheel bearings, and also the wheel balance (all four). I presume the car's been aligned since the repair - did they find it out of alignment?

I would also check the ball joints and tie rod ends and I would look at both of the swy bar end links. Another thing to look for is a bent wheel. which they should find by balancing they, but you could do this yourself at home.

Could be a "thrust angle" problem. If they didn't recenter the rear end of the car correctly over the rear axle, the car may be pointing to the side, forcing the front end to have to work harder to keep the car going straight. If you hit it hard enough to break an axle, there's a chance you bent the panhard rod, or the long mounting arm on the passenger side.

I would also not accept the story about the brake caliper rotor interference being "rust".... something is bent or displaced.

ok, thanks guys. Unfortunetly, this all happened at my job, in delaware which is about 45 min away from my house and my mecanic, so i had to get it towed to a shop down there or I would have had to have paid an arm and a leg. Guy was real "shady". Didnt really trust him, but it wa the closest shop that I knew about. Im gonna take it to my alstate rep tomorrow for them to look the whole car over since they covered it. And I already paid the $500 deductable.
