Rounded off the drain plug, what else can I do?

Maybe I missed it, but have you tried the universal metric wrench(vise grip)

We are talking about the drain plug on the bottom of the block, just above the oilpan. It is opposite of the knock sensor, correct?

Ya its completely round now, no wrench is gona help. I'll just bite the bullet and let the coolant flow. Will it hurt anything to have some fall in the cylinders?

I suppose you wouldn't have access to a TIG welder. If you could, weld a piece of flat stock to the rounded plug. The heat from the weld alone could be enough to help break it free. The flatbar could also act as a torque multiplier(handle)....

I'll have to take it to a shop and have them do that sometime. Right now I just need to get my heads off.

I think I am going to pull the lower driverside w/p bolt, hopefully does the trick. I got the knock sensor out on the otherside.
