RKSport Header flange bolt holes
RKSport Header flange bolt holes
I'm replacing my edelbrock TES headers with a set of RKsport headers and the install has been brutal. I can install my edelbrocks in about 2 hours - I worked last night for 8 hours and only got one header installed. The problem that I'm having is that I cannot get the bolts started. I hand to use my grinder on the holes in the flange in order to install the driver side header. I did a little grinding on the passenger side until my air grinder died. I can get 4 of the 6 bolts started on that header. The last 2 will not go in. I tried pulling the header as far away from the head as possible and even chased the threads.
It seems that the holes are not located correctly on the flange. Has anybody else had this problem with Rksport headers? I'm off to buy another grinder to get these damn things installed.
