resistor

Where do you stick those resistors that SAY they will give you a few HP? And what does it do to give you power?

They go somewhere around the MAF. Don't get them. Get a tune from Madz28.com, or pcmforless.com. I think madz28.com guarantees a 13rwhp increase on stock cars, more on modded cars. A tune is about $100, plus they can change you fan temps, your shift points and firmness, your timing advance, your knock retard, adjsut for different gears and tire sizes, remove top speed limiters, all sorts of stuff. Don't buy that resister. If you bipass your throttle body ($6 kit from ebay), you will gain 10 times more horsepower than from the resistor.

You can stick it some place other than in the car and it will do about as much for long term performance.
