Resistance on plug wires?

Resistance on plug wires?
I just replaced my plugs, then had to replace to more so I dont think its the plugs. I have over the valve cover wires, and want to know what the resistance should be on the wires. I was told it should be somewere around 7 ohms. Is that corret?
