replaced opti plugs and wires still have a small flutter??

also changed fuel filter and put some seafoam and heet in the tank it doesnt do it all the time but when it does it will flutter between gears then go away and sometimes when it shifts into overdrive it feels like it surges a little . i also thought adding a muffler to my open exhaust would take care of my egr ses code since i have no cats but the light came back on a couple days later and man that muffler sounds a lot quieter since i have no cats how come?it does not pop either cause i guess i dont have as much back pressure would another muffler provide me with more back pressure then the flowmaster 80 series i have.

Did you change the coil and coil wire? This seems to be a very common component that people overlook. That was the problem when my car was sputtering. I fixed it then a week later the opti went .
