Removing Traction Conrol

I used the search function and came up with a post saying it can be removed and another where someone asked about removing it and never got a reply. I'm sure people have done it and I want to know how and what I need to put in there when its out. Can someone help me out??? TCS is useless to me and the black box is ugly sitting right on top of my driver's side valve cover.

Yes, you can remove it. You just need a set of throttle cables for a non TC car to swap out. (There are 2. 1 for the throttle and one for cruise control) You will also need to turn off the TC in the PCM.

As for needing to disable the TC programming in the computer, email me for pricing. We can go ahead and set you up w/ a performance program if you're interested too. LT1Brutus@mascperformance.com

Thanks for the replies. I'll do that while I'm taking out the EGR and AIR off. I dont have Cruise Control so would I only need the other one?

One more question, can anyone tell me the part numbers or where I can get the throttle cables from?

No you won't need the cruise cable then. The part number for the throttle cable is 12550676. You can get them at a dealership or I think gmpartsdirect.com has them too.
