Removed balancer and hub today and now have a question

Removed balancer and hub today and now have a question

After removing balancer and hub noticed no key way for the hub, anyone know why the LT1 is like this ?

I'm pretty sure mine had a key...

Is your's a '93? I think a read a thread a few days ago that said something like the '93 hub isn't keyed...

It is just the way they are. They are not keyed from the factory. It is rarely a problem unless you are running a supercharger.
