Relocating oil pressure sender>>???

On my stock motor, the oil pressure sender is above the oil filter. On my new motor I would like to move it to the back of the intake. Anyone done this? What is required? Thanks.

Fittings are required and it shouldn't hurt a thing. If ya got LT's it will get it out of the heat.

most lt1s have the sensor on the back of the intake from factory no? unless different years changed. either way though you'll be fine. like 1 racerdude said, youll need fitting. no biggie.

93s and early 94s have them on the side of the block above the oil filter.

Your old 93 had the sensor where we just put the autometer mechanical gauge sensor on mine Wednesday...

All you need is a plug to screw into the old location. You can actually remove the plug from behind the intake and screw it into the hole above the filter and screw the sensor into the new location.

Nothing else needed.

Here's a photo from Shoebox's site of the fitting to relocate the sensor:

Fittings are: GM P/N 10137636 $6.04

Thanks fellas. I'll be moving it on my new motor because the sensors so close to my exhaust. Makes it a real PITA.
