Redline question

What would be a good shifting point for a stock rebuilt bottom end a hotcam with a little head work? Ive heard 6200 is a good spot but ive heard a few different things as far as where the hotcam makes power to. The stock tach in my 91 redlines at 5500... Its hard to go past that even though its a different motor lol.
