rear brakes dragging?

I recently got my rear rotors turned and installed new pads. However, i forgot to grease the pads with that white grease they give you. Now when I accelerate and let off the gas, the car slows down real quick. It almost feels like Im riding my brakes gently. Is it possible the rear brakes are draging as a result of me forgetting to grease the pads?

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

Nah...highly doubt it. Run it for awhile and see if it goes away.

Did you grease the "Brake Rods" or what ever they call those things. When you take your rear brake apart it's good to lube those rods up to keep them from sticking. I had dragging rears...and when I decided to spary everything...I just greased those rods up and they seemed to stop dragging. Dunno...

Did you use a c-clamp to release the caliper pressure? If so, it might be a good idea to bleed all of the brakes, it is possible to get air in the lines and that can cause some funky problems. Just remember to start at the one furthest from the master cylinder and work your way forward. My .02
