It takes about 1 1/2 quarts of gear lube and 1 bottle of Limited Slip additive.

I am so dumb I had to look up how many quarts that was. I should have paid attention in school.
Bud is correct.
I just did it today, why does the stuff smell so bad?

You can get a gasket at any parts store. Check this site for instructions.
http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/lubeoil.htm
The rest of that site has everything you need for your F-body. Later>>>>>>

But if you use synthetic lube you dont need posi addative, and it might prolong the life of your factory posi unit, just food for thought, hope it helps, prorac1

I used LS additive with synthetic gear lube. No problems.
