Is this a real car?

I saw a few Formula V6's for sale in a newspaper..i thought formulas where only v8's or am i way off?

I belive you are correct. According to the Formula Source there have never been any "V6 Formula's" made.

Most likely an uneducated seller or a intentionally misrepresenting seller.

Yeah i see that kind of stuff all the time. Could be just a dumb seller or a misprint. One time when i was looking for a z28 the seller told me it was a 4 cylinder. It was the guys wife, but still how can you mistake it for a 4 banger.

dont you hate it when they spell Camaro "camero"
as for 3rd gen formulas, u can see here

I think some of this comes about because of the font they used on the "Formula V8" sticker on the headlight and back bumper of the 93/94's. The "8" looks a lot like a "6". When I first got my Formula new in 1994, several people asked me why I bought a "V6".

There was also the guy that did a GN blower motor transplant into his Formula and did a custom Formula V6 sticker..

well, pretty much, the definition of a formula is a firebird with a v8.. so that doesn't really make sense. but if it has a v6 why do you want it anyway?
