I'm new to this forum and have a couple of questions. I got some other info off this site about blleding the cooling system and the heater and both articles talked about clearing the "opti". Not to sound ignorant, but could someone please tell me what that means?

 

The "opti" is the distributor. The wonderful engineers at GM placed it between the block and the waterpump. Regarding "clearing the opti" while bleeding the cooling system,
--- Just dont let coolant dribble onto the distributor "opti" while bleeding the cooling system.
