random/multiple misfire......PLZ HELP!

well i just put some 3.73s in my car. now everytime i drive for an extended period on a parkway at like 75 or so im tachin like 2300-2700. my check engine light comes on and and its a random misfire code. i was thinking that it could be one of two things...my knock module since my exhaust is loud and road noise. or i think it could be my opti...please help and any input is greatly appreciated....here are my mods...

Mods-Madz28.com tune, true duals w/ dynomax race bullets, CATS delete, A.I.R. delete, Smooth intake elbow, MSD wires and coil, K&N cold air, Spectre ram air, 3.73s, Eibach Sportline springs, Energy Supension transmission mount and Torque arm bushing.

It could be plugs,wires,coil,icm,02's, or the opti. Take your pick.

check to be sure none of the plug wires are grounding on the exhaust...sounds like that is a possibility since it's happening at running temp....as another option, you can take off the icm and have it tested before you went tearing into the opti...just a maybe!

Yes, start by rechecking plugs and wires.

sorry but, it really sounds like plugs/wires to me. Could be coil, opti also, but to me it sounds like plugs/wires. Check for arcing (turn lights out at night and look for light coming from under hood), check for wires on headers, check your plugs if this checks out.

I bet you have a burnt plug wire somewhere.

Right, we understand. Still could be plugs/wires. Mine did this a while back and it turned out to be wires.

The time before it was the opti.
