ram air setup camaro lt1

does any one have any pics of what a ram air setup should look like......

i just bought a camaro 95 and the filter is exposed i dont know if its supposed to be that way or if its supposed to have a lid.....also on the hood it has a sponge type material that im thinking acts as a seal for the air box and hood......

let me know.......

The filter panel is totally exposed and goes directly under the hood scoop, with a foam rubber seal to seal the filter box to the hood. I found this pic of an SS engine:
