Exclamation quick question.. found slight oil leak

im changing my oil right now, and i noticed some oil on the bottom of my pan. First thing i thought was intake manifold leak, but then i noticed the oil was only on the bottom of the pan, not the back. Took the drain plug out and it seems as if the rubber part of the washer is breaking apart. So im pretty sure the oil leak was from the drain plug, which would explain why its just on the bottom of the pan. Anyways question is, Do you think i could put some rtv to help seal the drain plug or would this be bad to do. Thank you!

RTV will work fine on the drain plug, but considering a new plug doesn't cost much from the dealer, I would just do that.
