there is a burnt plug wire and its causing a constant miss at all rpm. is it going to hurt anything by driving around untill i get this fixed? like will it short anything out?

 

these damn burnt plugwires on these cars I just put a brand new set of msd's on mine and within 2 months found the #7 wire was burnt almost all the way through and causing a bad miss.,i routed it just the way the factory one was,but you cant see it because its hiding right behind the exhaust manifold.Will it hurt anything,just a little more in your wallet from the extra $ you'll be spending on gas,and your ego if you happen to lose to a stang because of it It is possible though if you drive it long enough like that,the plug could foul from not getting a comlete spark,get it fixed asap.
