quick fuel question

quick fuel question

with a walbrough 255 intank pump and a hotwire kit, cc306 stock longblock, plus 100 shot...

if im running out of fuel what do yall do? an external inline pump?

fuel injectors? are you runing a dry or wet shot?

How do you know you're running out of fuel? A healthy 255LPH pump should be capable of supporting 700+ flywheel HP.

thats what i thought, i dont know for sure yet, i know the filter is new, fpr seems to work fine as of last time i checked it, 2 weeks ago, dont know what else could cause it...

Has your car been tuned for the cam? As Injuneer said, that fuel pump is more then capable of feeding a CC306 cam and a 100 shot of nitrous.

I still don't understand how you determined (or why you even suspect) it running out of fuel - is it losnig power, running lean, backfiring, etc??? All you need to do is put a pressure gauge on it and take it up to max load/rpm. If the pressure stays above 40psi, its not a fuel pump problem.
