Questions for those with 847 cams.
Questions for those with 847 cams.
Just a few questions for the 847 owners. What are your optimum shift points? Have you ever ran into valve float? What valve springs are you using? Do you have a rev kit?

My transmission keeps me from shifting higher than 6400 or so (factory tach).
But I'm using the K-motion K-800s as well. I installed them at 1.95 and had to have the seat of my afrs lowered about .100 to get the height with a steel seat. If I stay in gear it will rev over 6500, but when I shift the tranny bucks and snorts, I have to pull my foot out of it for it to shift, if I shift before 6500 it shifts fine.
