I have a 94 Z28, automatic. When I try to get on it a little bit it doesn't respond when engine is pulling i.e., on hills. A little better on flats not much though. Any thoughts?

 

Have you done any maintenance recently? Does the motor spin up and it just doesn't move, or does it bog?

Sounds like it could be fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, air filter, dirty throttle body, any number of things really.

 

How many miles, what have you done to the engine & do you have a check engine light? I would make sure you have done the routine maintenance and then look to things like exhaust leaks, worn out engine and so on. Also how long have you owned the car and when did it start getting gutless?

 

Well I just bought the car. This is my first LT1 camaro, so don't know much about them. The mileage is about 128,000. I haven't done much to it yet. I just recently had the exhaust leaks repaired so that should be fine. I guess I'll start with a basic tune up and see what happens. Thanks for the input guys>

I would have the codes read and go from there. It could be dirty air filter, maf or just plugs and wires. I would replace fuel filter also.
