Timeing Chains
How good are the timeing chains in these 95 camaro z28's my car is starting to make a squeaking sound in the front of the motor when i rev the motor it gets louder. i know i have a small header leak on the right side would that cause it to squeak
Timing chain would be about my last suspect. Pull the serpentine belt off and restart the car too see if the noise is still there. It probably will not be, then shut it down and start turning the accessories and tensioner by hand as see if one feels tight, rough or squeeks.
If a squeeking noise comes from inside the engine that can be VERY bad, but that noise is bad enough that I think you would be showing more concern.
