Question on Springs...

I plan on going with a CC503 cam and Crane Gold 1.6 roller rockers on stock heads. My driving will consist of a little street and road racing at Watkins Glen and Limerock, if that has any bearing on the decision. What type of springs should I go with? I've seen the Comp 918 beehive springs breaking left and right. What are my options? Thanks.

PAC1218s or for longer spring life nitride treated PAC1518's.
PAC was the original manufacturer of the beehive for Comp before Comp got cheap and switched to a Mexico made spring that breaks.

Pac 1518's expecially since your going to be doing some road racing which is alot harder on the valvetrain than drag racing.

Rob, I was checking out your "Performance and Party" page. Garage and stable of cars look awesome. That 10th anniversary T/A was my dream car when I was in high school way back in the 80's. Good friend of mine also has a 30th anniversary T/A, although nothing is stock on it anymore. Has an iron block 408ci with twin turbos. Car is nothing short of insane. Thanks to all for the input...so far two votes for the PAC 1518's.

I'd love to twin turbo a 4th gen Thanks for the comments.
If there's enough interest still, Shon had a GP going on the PAC1518s for $200, look and post in the Group Purchase forum. I had bought 10 sets of the 1518s and was selling the extras for $180 but I have already sold all of the extra sets.
You can get then from PAC at tremendously discounted prices if you buy in quantity..

You should be able to get another 10% off of those prices for their website grand opening, look at their home page for details, not sure how long its going to last.
