Question Question Concerning 93 O2 Sensors

I'm getting ready to put Jet Hot LT's in this weekend and was wondering if I could just use the regular single wire O2 sensors or if I had to get the heated O2 sensors.

If I need the heated ones then where can I order them and the adapter that I'll need to go from 1 wire to 3 wires?

Thanks for your help.

If you want to convert, go to ammpeformance.com, they can hook you up. Other than that, they are not necessary.

Or do what I did....

Go to Autozone and but a universal 3 wire sensor. It should come with 2 white wires and 1 black.

Black is the signal.
Use on white as a power source, and the other to a ground Does not matter which.

Hope this helps.

Some say that using the single wire is OK, some say that they needed the heated ones. When I did the long tubes I went w/ the 3-wire heated AC74 from Dal or Jason and then had Casper make the custom 1-3 wire extensions. The sensors were like $35-40 and the extensions were like $50 shipped. Casper is really nice because they will make to length whatever you need. I had them make one side only like an inch while the other side was like 20" and both had pigtails for an A/F if I ever decided to put one on. Since they were made to length there was no extra wiring to hide or protect. PCMforless told me not to get the AutoZone or similar brand 02s but then others run them w/ no problems.
Here's a link to Casper. Just call them and tell them what you're in need of and they hook you up.

Hope that helps.
